    王明忠,中山大学药学院研究员,南开大学博士，北京大学化学与分子工程学院天然产物化学 博士后，香港浸会大学赛马会中医药学院天然药物化学博士后（“香江学者计划”）。主要研究方向：天然产物全合成。主持省部级项目两项，至今在Chem. Commun.、Org. Chem. Front.、J. Nat. Prod.、ChemistrySelect、Eur. J. Med. Chem.、Helv. Chim. Acta.、J. Agric. Food Chem.、Zeitschrift für Naturforschung B等著名国际期刊上发表论文十余篇。

讲座内容：
    In this talk,we will introduce the story of the first total synthesis of the indole alkaloid nocardioazine B, which was accomplished in 10 steps with an overall yield of 11.8%, establishing the absolute stereochemistry of the natural product.
